SHould the root system for the Alice Du Pont Mandevilla be dug up at the end of each season, or can it be left in the ground? |
This plant is not winter hardy in cold climates. For this reason it is often grown as a container plant to facilitate moving it indoors for the winter as a houseplant or into a greenhouse. It could also be planted in the ground and then dug in early fall and potted up for the winter. |
