The Q&A Archives: Perennial

Question: I purchased a plant called meadow sweet at a plant sale and am not sure if it needs sun or shade. can you help?

Answer: Measowsweet is a name given to Filipendula, of which there are several types grown in gardens, some with pink and some with white blooms. In general they are very hardy and do well in a sunny to partly sunny location. In a sunnier location they will appreciate ample moisture, even a wet soil.
