The Q&A Archives: Identifying a Plant Similar to Wandering Jew

Question: I am looking to identify a plant. It grows like a wandering Jew plant. Its leaves are mainly purple and have fuzz.

Answer: It's difficult to identify plants online, but that might be a variety in the same genus as the wandering jew called: Tradescantia blossfeldiana (no common name). It has leaves that are dark green above and furry and purple below. Wandering jew is T. albiflora and there are other species in this genus that your plant might be as there are a number of variegated leaves. Hope this helps!
