Do slugs eat honeysuckle leaves> I found these black beetles with orange spots on their backs drinking the from the flowers. Do they eat leaves? What bugs do attack honeysuckle plants? Thank you.

Slugs do not normally feast on honeysuckle, but a host of other insects favor the plant. Before you treat, however, it's important to identify the insects you've found. They could be lady bugs (good guys)or bean beetles (bad guys). Take a sample to your local Cooperative Extension office. (916-875-6913) They'll properly i.d. the insects and provide current control measures if the insects are not beneficials.
