I've had a bougainvilla plant for several years (brought it with me from California) indoors in a large pot, south facing window, etc.. It has never bloomed, but grows quite well otherwise. How can I get it to bloom? Thanks. Tom |
Bougainvillea thrive in full sun and prefer to be a little stressed for water and fertilizer to bloom best. Put it in as much sunlight as you can and try fertilizing with a phosphorus-only source, which promotes bloom. Try bone meal or 0-45-0. Hope this helps! |
