The Q&A Archives: Azaleas

Question: I am lookig for an orange (evergreen) azalea. I have looked at Bucneer, Hot Shot and Stewartsonian. They are not orange enough for me. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank You,

Answer: 'Corringe', an Exbury hybrid, is an almost fluorescent red-orange with a hot orange flare on the upper petal. 'Brazil' produces brillant orange flowers, 'Golden Eagle' a deep orange, and 'Orangeade' produces frilly, pure orange flowers. Hope one of these is just right for you!
