white eggs under beet-spinach-and swiss chard leaves, the leaves are drying up=== one garden doesn't have them , is this bug in the dirt?and what is it |
Rather than insect eggs, it is possible you are seeing a fungus, the spore phase of mildew, on the underside of the foliage along with resulting browning. Trim away and dispose of infected leaves, avoid wetting the foliage especially in the evening and, if possible, increase air circulation by thinning the spinach. |
