The Q&A Archives: What Do I Do With Arugula When It Starts To Flower

Question: I know that the Arugula is bitter and I can use the Flowers in salads as a garnish, but after that, what? Should I then dig it up? What is the next step?

Answer: Once it has flowered (gone to seed) it is no longer considered edible and would be pulled for the compost pile or plowed under.
