Variegated Fallopia-invasive?? - Knowledgebase Question

I have been looking up info. on Fallopia and keep finding references to Japanese Knotweed. Everything I have read says this is VERY invasive. Is the Varigated Fallopia shown in your catalog the same variety?? It doesn't mention anything about invasiveness.

As with many plants, the variegated form is less vigorous than the (notorious) plain green form.
