Never have I ever seen such a thing. Most everyone in this area has the question of "what happened to our mums this spring?" People that have had their mums grow every year be it new or old plants have not seen any life from most of their plants. Could it be because of the winter we had ? Out of six plants I show life from just one. |
Since the problem is so widespread in your area, I would certainly suspect the fickle winter weather. The freeze thaw cycles, cold without benefit of protective insulating snow cover, and other extremes can have an adverse effect on otherwise hardy mums. |
