It is November and we have had our first snow here, is it too late to plant tulip bulbs for the next season?

As long as the ground is not frozen it isn't too late. I have often planted tulips and crocuses on Thanksgiving Day. With spring bulbs, you're better late than early, so go ahead, get those hands dirty!
