i would like to know if platycodon is a perennial, and if it would do well in the northeast. thank you

Platycodon grandiflora (Balloon Flower) is a perennial and it should do well in zones 10 to 3. It is very widely adapted. It does come up very late in the spring, so it is a good idea to mark its location.
