Lemon grass is not a winter hardy plant, so if you left it outside over the winter, unfortunately it is dead by now. If you have been growing it in a container inside, it can be trimmed off short to harvest it for use one blade at a time or as a clump. To know if you have the right plant, bruise a leaf and smell it. It should smell strongly of lemon.
