How do you plant a Snowball Bush? What type of soil, light? Thank you for your help. Barbara |
If you're thinking of Viburnum opulus 'Eastern Snowball' (which is hardy to zone 3), it does best in full sun, a slightly acidic pH (6.0), and rich, boggy, humusy soil. However, it is tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions and pH, thus it makes a great plant for our yards. Just make sure you provide consistent, deep moisture for the first couple of years after planting so it will become well established. Enjoy! |
