I am planting begonies and gerbera daisies, and I was wondering how far apart they needed to be planted to be healthy?

To some extent this will be a matter of personal preference, if you like to see mulch in between the plants or prefer them to touch at the tips. Gerber daisies would typically be spaced about a foot apart, the little fibrous rooted begonias about six inches. If you are intermingling the two, average the distances.
