What plants to you recommend for a location with sandy soil, irregular water supply, and full sun that tops 100 degrees throughout the summer?

Are you interested in ornamental shrubs, annual flowers, groundcovers, or vegetables? There are a number of plants that, once established, will thrive in the desert scenario you present. California poppy, blanket flower, sedum, and yarrrow are popular perennials.
