I am looking for an evergreen tree of some type,i.e. juniper type or alberta spruce type)that I can put on the corner of my house to soften the corner where it turns from front to side. It is in a corner of the house that gets full sun. What looks nice and will accomplish my purpose? Thank you. I buy my Monrovia plantings from Barton's in Edison, NJ.

A juniper would be a good hardy choice for an exposed location in full sun as long as the soil has adequate drainage and is not soggy there. Be sure to select one with a mature size and shape (there are many varieties availabel) that fit the location you have in mind. Your nursery personnel should be able to help you make the selection.
