| There are different types of bamboo, some are spreading and some are clumping. Spreaders are not suitable for a border as they can be very difficult to control; clumpers tend to grow slowly and as a result are rather expensive and therefore less suitable for a hedge type of application. Generally speaking, there are better choices than bamboo for bordering a property. |
