Is there anything I can do to help my hostas and other perennial and annual flowers recover faster after yesterday's hail storm put holes in some, split some and actually cut some leaves off at the stem?

There's really nothing you can do, other than to continue to care for them properly so they are healthy and can make a speedy recovery. Try to trim off any broken or torn stems back to a main stem so there isn't an open wound, unless the plants are very small and need the foliage to photosynthesize.
