At what, in terms of inches/feet per year, does the flowering pear tree (pyrus Kawakamii) grow? Please supply spread, too, if possible. Thanks!

Rate of growth really depends upon climate and soil conditions so I can't give you an average annual rate of growth for your ornamental pear. However, Pyrus kawakamii, the evergreen pear, at maturity, will reach 15'-30' high with an equal width. Branches are droopy and can be shortened if they become overly long. If not trained, the tree will become a broad, sprawling shrub.
