Question: How long before pear trees produce fruit & what should I do to expedite the process?

Answer: Dwarf pear trees take 5 years; standard trees take 8. Some varieties might shave 2 years off of that. There's not much you can do to hasten nature's timetable other than keep the trees healthy.
