Ficus elastica, rubber plant, likes full sun to medium light, but it can take low light for short periods. For watering, soak the soil thoroughly and then let it dry out before watering again. Use an all-purpose plant food about once a month during active growth. Winter is a natural resting time for houseplants, so don't expect any new growth until the following spring. In the meantime, water sparingly, and keep your plant out of cold drafts. They do best when slightly pot-bound and should only be repotted every 2-3 years.
