Coral bells (Heuchera) is a compact, clump-forming perennial, and established plants can be lifted and divided. You can cut away the smaller clumps that form around the main clump (making sure to take roots as well as foliage with each division), or you can simply lay the plant on its side and divide by cutting it apart with a garden spade. Replant as soon as possible so the roots don't dry out too much.
