I am interested in growing a plant I saw at Calloway Gardens that was labeled "Mexican Heather". I believe it is Cuphea hyssopifolia. The limited information that I have found says that it can be grown by seed. If this is so, can you tell me where I might get seeds?

I've been unable to find a retail source of seeds of Cuphea hyssopifolia, although there are some wholesale suppliers. Here are the sources - if they won't sell to you directly, they may have an idea of where else you might try:

Live Oak Gardens, LTD Greenleaf Nursery Co.
10106 Jefferson Island Rd. HC-72 Box 163
New Iberia, LA 70560 Park Hill, OK 74451-9500
318/367-3485 800/331-3147

Good luck!
