I just recieved a rosemary plant as a gift. I know nothing about them. Should I replant it in a pot or in the yard? And also how much sun and water should it get? thanks :-)

Rosemary is one of those tough but lovely plants every garden should have! It adapts well to growing in containers as long as the soil drains quickly, and it's equally happy when planted in average garden soil, in full sunshine. Don't overwater or overfeed - or you'll end up with lots of rank growth. Water deeply once a week, or when soil dries out. Keep your rosemary looking neat and attractive with frequent tip-pinching.
