The leaves of my Mango tree seem to be drying up even though the tree has fruit on it. It is a young tree and we are new at groing mangos. What should I be doing as far as making sure it is getting the right amount of water and fertilizers.

Mango trees aren't too particular about soil (other than it be fast-draining) but require full sunshine and regular watering throughout the growing season. Young Mango trees should be fertilized in early spring with a half-cup (4 oz.) of a formula manufactured for use on citrus trees. As the tree grows, apply at the rate recommended on the fertilizer label. Water your tree thoroughly each week during the spring and summer months. Hope your tree perks up soon!
