| African violets do well with a water soluble houseplant fertilizer. There are also formulations specifically developed for African violets that include "minors" as well as the main nutrients. Read and follow the label instructions. (Overfertilizing is not better than underfertilizing.) In many cases light is the most important factor in getting them to bloom well. They need bright light year round, with indirect light being preferred especially in summer when the sun coming in the window is stronger. |
