The Q&A Archives: Daylilies

Question: It is now almost the middle of June in the Northeast, can I still plant daylilies?????

Answer: You can plant daylilies almost any time you can dig the soil. Container grown plants can go in anytime, bare root plants seem to do best planted in late summer or very early spring. Keep the plants well watered while they become established.
