My anthurium sprouts flowers, but the petal won't open fully. I have it in a well-lighted room with no direct sun and water it frequently. What's wrong?

It's always disappointing when a flower stalls, just on the brink of opening! The usual causes for such behavior are immaturity (some plants just can't support a flower for the first few years of life), or the wrong environmental conditions. Anthurium needs bright light and adequate moisture, but it also requires warm temperatures and high humidity. Try misting your plant every morning to see if that doesn't bring about some improvement. Best wishes with your plant!
