| I certainly can fill your order for some lovely red perennials. Keep in mind that it is not at all unusual for perennials to not bloom the first year. They typically use their first season establishing a root system. This is especially true if you are starting from seed as opposed to purchasing nursery stock. The following range from red to pink and pinkish purple : Hemerocallis (Daylily), Heuchera (Coralbells), Aster , Astilbe (Meadowsweet), Bergenia, Campanula (Bellflower), Hardy Chrysanthemum hybrids, Dicentra (Bleeding Hearts), Chrysanthemum coccineum (Painted Daisy). Daylily is not grown from seed, it grows from a rhizome (similar to an iris). Please also consider Shirley Poppies, which are annuals that readily re-seed, and you can't beat them for the reds! |
