I was unable to access the search portion for infomation that I am seeking. Will the asparagus grow similiar to how a bamboo grows. That is sending roots all over especially under walls and into neighboring areas like a neighboring yard? At the present time I have three year old plants confined to large pots and new growth in the ground. |
Asparagus roots are not invasive, but the plants will become larger with age. Most asparagus plants are long-lived and can produce for 10-15 years, but they can occupy the same space in the same bed for all those years without getting out of control. |
