I was unable to access the search portion for infomation that I am seeking.

Will the asparagus grow similiar to how a bamboo grows. That is sending roots all over especially under walls
and into neighboring areas like a neighboring yard?

At the present time I have three year old plants confined to large pots and new growth in the ground.

Asparagus roots are not invasive, but the plants will become larger with age. Most asparagus plants are long-lived and can produce for 10-15 years, but they can occupy the same space in the same bed for all those years without getting out of control.
