Will a dwarf Burford holly grow well in a container? What size pot do I need? Also, is it true that only the female produces berries? How do I know if I have a female?

Dwarf Burford is a compact grower, 4'-6' tall and wide at maturity. It's a prolific bearer of large, bright red berries. These plants are grown from cuttings and are all female. Unlike most hollies, they will produce berries without a male pollinizer. Start out with a one-gallon pot and transplant into the next size larger pot as your holly grows. You'll know it's time to transplant when roots begin to grow from the drainage holes.
