I purchased three lung wort plants in the spring and they all have a powdery mildew on the leaves, the plants are not thriving the leaves are shriviling and the plants are sparse. THey are is a shaded part of the garden |
Mildew will occasionally attack these plants if the season is unfavorable. Trim away the infected portions, replace the mulch immediately around the plants, keep the soil evenly moist, and make sure neighboring plants are not preventing air circulation around the plants. Avoid wetting the foliage, especially in the evening. With luck, they will regenerate and be mildew free. |
