I have a hanging basket of rose shaped impatients. It is mostly shady, and I have successfully grown other impatients here. This year my plant lost all it's flowers and has not gotten new ones. What is going on? |
The rose flowered impatiens in my experience require very rich soil and a bit of gentle morning sunlight or a lsightly brighter location to do well. Cold nights can also take their toll. You might try using a water soluble fertilizer for flowering plants at the higher of the label rates (do not exceed the recommended rate) and increase the light slightly if it receives no direct sun at all. |
