Box 205, Seaford Victoria, 3198. Here are a few hints to growing a giant pumpkin: Make sure your garden spot gets 8-10 hours of strong sunlight. Mix lots of organic matter into the soil. When pumpkins start to form, cut all but one off each vine so there's little competition. Give the plant lots of water. As your giant pumpkin matures, place a board under it so it won't rot from contact with wet soil. Good Luck! |
