How do I get my pink hydrangea to turn blue? Is it a soil condition as some people have suggested or do I have to buy blue hydrangeas? Thanks!

I am sorry we have taken so long to answer your question. Some varieties of pink hydrangea were specifically bred to remain pink in all soil types. If you have one of these special varieties, then changing the soil pH will not change its color to the blue you are hoping for. If you do have a plant that is sensitive to soil pH, then acidifying the soil slightly should bring about the desired result.
