The Q&A Archives: Could You Please Provide Me With A List Of Fragrent Deer-resistant Plants For Our Area.

Question: Could you please suggest a few plants from your fragrance list that are deer resistant. Thank-you

Answer: Fragrant plants that deer aren't especially attracted to include Abelia, Buddleia (butterfly bush), Calycanthus occidentalis (spice bush), Ceanothus (wild lilac), Cistus (rockrose), Daphne, Freesia, Geranium, Monarda (bee balm), Narcissus, Oregano, Penstemon, Thymus, Viola odorata, Ageratum, Impatiens, and Poppy. Deer will eat anything if they're hungry enough, but the above listed plants are not as attractive as others.... best wishes!
