I have tow shasta dasies that I started from seeds in late June on my kitchen window sill. I also have aphids crawling all over them. How do I get rid of these bugs so I have plants to grow in my yeard next spring? |
Aphids seem to appear overnight and if left unchecked the population can really soar. Rinse the pests off with plain water, making sure to clean all stems and the undersides of all the leaves. If aphids reappear, you can use insecticidal soap against them. Use according to label directions and keep your plant out of direct sunshine while the soap residue is still wet. You may have to repeat the treatment to wipe out all of the pests and their eggs. |
