| There are many varieties of sunflowers, and the types intended for flower display rather than the very tall huge headed ones would do fine in a very large pot (roughly two gallons or larger) or several together in a half barrel planter. These are annuals that grow bloom and die in one season, so the seed would be planted next spring. |
