One of the most common reasons for lack of grapes is pruning at the worng time of year. Grape pruning is usually done in late winter. Remove most of the vine, leaving just a few buds. This drastic pruning encourages the vine to grow vigorously. The grapes will be produced on the new growth, so do not prune during the growing season. Early next spring you might also give the plant some compost and/or complete fertilizer such as 10-10-10 according to the label instructions.
