| Pygmy Date Palm (Phoenix roebelenii) will tolerate a light, brief frost. It's a small to medium sized palm, growing 7'-10' tall. Provide afternoon shade. Majesty palm is Ravenea rivularis. It can grow 40' tall, in full morning sun (with protection from afternoon sun), or in light shade. It's hardy to 26F but will suffer some frond damage from extended periods of cold. |
