I planted calla lilies 3 years ago and they grew & bloomed beautifully! But for the past 2 yrs., they've had no flowers. Should I dig them?

Calla lilies like full sun, lots of water, and need well drained soil. Did you plant them deep enough? Set the rhizomes 4-6 inches deep. There is a natural resting period that callas go through during the fall, when the leaves should wither and dry up. At that point, don't water them. When new leaves appear in the spring, resume watering and side dress with a complete fertilizer such as 8-8-8. Use three pounds per 100 square feet of bed.
