What can you tell me about appearance, blooming season, soil and light requirements for Salvia nemerosa lubecca? |
I located a variety of Salvia called Salvia nemorosa 'Plumosa' but not 'Lubecca'. I will describe the one I located in hopes that may help you. The Plumosa is 15-18" in height, produces flowers in early summer and will rebloom throughout the summer in areas with cool summer evenings and adequate moisture. Plumosa grows well in full sun to part shade. Plumosa flowers grow in plumes which are deep rosy pink with a velvety appearance. The flowers are produced in huge quantity. Plumosa demands moist but well drained soil. |
