The Q&A Archives: Watering Plants

Question: Will plants survive on different liquids other than water?

Answer: I have heard of plants being watered with milk, but milk has water in it, so there is still water present. Salty water, on the other hand, usually has a very detrimental effect on most plants. You might want to experiment a bit for yourself and see what happens.
