I'm looking for a tree to give us privacy in our backyard. Our neighbor cut down trees and now we can see one another's decks. We miss the privacy. We're looking for a fast growing tree, maybe something like a christmas tree to plant now.

My local nursery suggested a Leyland cypress. I'm researching this and wanted to ask you as well. Also, do you ship?

Leyland cypress is Cupressocyparis leylandii, a plant famous for its rapid rate of growth. It makes a superb specimen plant, or as part of an informal or formal screen. It takes well to hard pruning, thrives in full sunshine and adapts to most any soil.
