I saw a purple bouganvillea in Monrovia pots recently. It was called something like shrub bouganvillea or bush bouganvillea. When I went back to buy some, they were all gone. What exactly was it? And can I order them through the website?

Thank you.

The plant in question is Bougainvillea 'Monka' with magenta-red flowers and and compact, dwarf growing habit. It's great in hanging baskets or as a spreading ground cover. Monrovia is a wholesale nursery so you can't order from the website, but here are two nurseries in your area:
El Real Nursery
2611 El Camino Real
Santa Clara, CA 95051
(408) 243-4910

Woolworth Nursery #5271
725 San Antonio Road
Palo Alto, CA 94303
(650) 493-5136

Contact one of them and they can order the plant for you.
