The plant commonly called Cat's Whiskers is also called Bat Flower and Devil's Tongue. The botanical name is Tacca chantrier and the plant is native to southeast Asia. It's unusual enough that most nurseries don't carry it. You might try contacting a local florist or greenhouse nursery specializing in tropical/unusual plants. Good luck with your search.
