Several weeks ago, I visited the NW Garden Show located at the convention center in Seattle. You had a beautiful display and breathtaking Maples (I believe). They were tall red twigs, beautiful red. Believe they told me they were maples. Beautiful accent pieces. Can't find the name in any of my gardening books. Can you help me with this?

Acer palmatum 'Sango-kaku' is the coral bark Japanese maple. It's a small tree with brilliant coral bark on the young branches. The color intensifies in the winter months. The deeply cut light green leaves have attractive red margins. It's a moderate-growing tree to about 15' and is almost as wide as it is tall.
