I'm interested in purchasing ladybuds to control an infestation of aphids. Would you know how/from whom I could make such a purchase?

Ladybugs can be purchased from Burpee. They sell them in 1/2 pt. or 1 qt. containers. 1/2 pt. is $12.95 each, two for $19.95. 1 qt. is $29.95. You can reach Burpee mail order at 1-800-888-1447 or visit their website at http://garden.burpee.com. Be sure to make your area receptive to the ladybugs so they will stick around. Obviously they will enjoy eating the aphids...have you considered also purchasing a ladybug house? They are available from several sources including Gardener's Supply Company at 1-800-863-1700.
