I pruned my azaleas in November. Will they survive or ever bloom again? |
Azaleas should be pruned immediately after flowering in the spring as they bloom on wood produced the previous year. Basically all you did was prune out the wood they would have bloomed from this spring. In all probability you didn't seriously harm the azaleas. Bloom will probably be diminished this spring (perhaps by a great deal) but should "catch up" the following season. |
